Long before AI

Amdocs, Cognyte, Outbrain. More than fifteen years in operations, finance and commercial roles, mostly working beside a CEO or a CIO on what the business was going to do next, and then on making it happen. Growth, cost, structure, people, the awkward conversations. Changing how a company works and getting people to come with you.
Then I moved to Auckland with no local network and took a COO seat at a New Zealand technology business. Over twelve months we repositioned the company, rebuilt how it sold and priced, and grew revenue roughly eightfold and the customer base by 70%, without adding headcount. AI was a real part of that: how we sold, how we entered new markets and segments, how we modelled pricing and forecast, how we reviewed contracts, and how we talked to customers.
AI is the fastest tool I have ever had for that job.
The tools crossed a line recently. Someone who understands how their own business works can now build useful tools themselves, often in hours or days, at a cost that would have been unthinkable a few years ago. Most people have not noticed yet. That gap is where the value is sitting, and it will not stay open.

Repositioned the company and rebuilt how it sells and prices. Revenue grew roughly eightfold in twelve months and the customer base by 70%, with no extra headcount.
Ran budgets, priorities and day to day operations alongside the CIO. Contributed to $80M of revenue and took $6M out of procurement. Led a cultural change programme across product management.
Improved EBIT by 6% across a division running north of $400M, through the Verint spin-off and IPO.
Took $2M a year out of the global travel policy. Built the pricing algorithm behind presales. Before that, the whole finance function for a hundred-person startup, through to its acquisition.
Trilingual. BA in Economics and Business Administration, MBA with a marketing major. Moved to Auckland in 2024 and started again from nothing.
